Can anybody please tell me the correct standard bore measurement for the Navi, I am currently considering a re-bore and have been aske for the measurement, can't find it on the forum and books give:- bore/stroke 63x56 whatever that is and the Norton manual gives 2,480"-2.4806".

That measurement is for a finished unused bore ie the tolerance on a freshly bored barrel, you get a wear allowance on top of that which is what you are looking for. Its difficult to find for bikes of that era even if its exists so 8 thou would be a good figure to use.
