Not sure if it’s a positive effect of the virus but I must thank our spares volunteers for the great service I have received these last few months. Refurbishing a M50 slimline I wasn’t rebuilding just freshening up what was already a nice machine but a bit scruffy here and there. My orders generally placed on Sunday eve, after the weekends discoveries and parts arriving within the week. All ready for another weekends entertainment... tank and mudguards were sent out for paint and seat with Leighton’s for a new foam and cover. A very pleasant machine, few adjustments after first road test and looking forward to a sunny bank holiday ride. Pictures to follow as the phone and iPad are not talking just now.
cheers

Paint to tank & mudguards and seat by professionals the rest by me. New chain to fit and we are away. This months Roadholder article prompted me to check mentioned items, all of which were in good order. Surprised the power output difference is so little to an ES2, but my bulk dosent hinder this bike. Helping a friend with a 1959 ES2 at present be interesting to compare...
cheers
