Hello yes is now paying dividends   doing all this research    But I must acknowledge   Joan and Dave Catton for there hard work  has play apart in this along with  Phil Hannan  Files  In dew coase I will bring out a book on Rare Norton,s   no matter witch year they were made and the copy rights will be NOC,   at the moment were still collecting  data at the moment ans collating  information, but  what I can tell you is these first Norton 650cc Manxman,s  are a nice motorcycle to ride,  and will make any norton enthusiast   a proud owner   these motorcycle were built for comfort   just like the Ariel Huntmaster  650  , but the Manxman  still retains  its impeccable road handling    and fast cruising   and ease of maintenance   I have world contacts  For Nortons     Yours   Anna J

The introduction was in the Motor Cylce published 3rd Nov 1960, the test was the following week I believe, I will see If I can find a copy of the magazine, might be some some time I have tons of them - literally.

Hello All In answer to Ashley  Now with respect   I do have this copy of the Motor Cycle magazine and it was publish may of 1961 and the machine in question was tested to destruction in witch the tester found he could  not break it,   and said the Manxman was one of the best he tested  , now the Norton Manxman was not made until the 7th of November 1960  inn witch some 30 machines were built  Now we do have the first one and third one and number 10 have come to light of day  and other as well world wide  a total of 52 to data  with ten being in the home country And I like to thank all that as supporting  me in this venture of exposing the Norton Manxman 650 to the World motorcycling enthusiasts  But we have a long way to go yet in keeping this part of history alive and kicking,Its 60th Anniversary  approaching fast   And the NOC need to see if it can show its Mark again at the NEC in November 2020  witch is the biggest pristididus   Classic Motorcycle show with in the uk  and the Norton Flag should be flying high there, Now I have a new colours for the old Bracebridge emblem In Red white and Blue  the Colours of a  Great British product,      Made in england    is something to be very proud off                                           Yours  Anna J
