oil feed engine connection

Forums

I am trying to identify the stud that attaches the oil feed to the bottom of the engine on a 1964 Navigator, I can see the nut (part 20943) but not the stud that I also need. Can anyone help?

Hi Steven, I've checked my parts manual and on page 22 under 'Oil Pipes' it lists the stud for the junction block as 'Stud for block' part number T2006, the 'Sleeve nut for stud' part number 20943 (which is available at £2.30 from the NOC shop found under crankshafts, conrods etc) and a 'Dowel for block' part number 21287.  It also lists the washers but I suspect any appropriate sized washer will do.   Once you have the sleeve nut you can establish the thread size and length of stud required and have one made up to suit.   Good luck.

Nick
