I can also get a rotor re-magnetised (and measure the magnetism in the first place.) But before you do 'go for it' please look at it very carefully mechanically. If it is loose on the crank, if the woodruff slot is worn, certainly if the rotor is loose on its own centre then all is lost. Another point, if it has lost magnetism then will it do it again? The cost of a re-magnetise through me is about half the cost of a new item (includes postage).
The rotor (loss of mag.) is most likely the reason for low electrical output from the alternator provided all else is in good order and the rotor is some years old.
