Dear Enthusiasts,
Could anyone help please with an annoying problem I have with obtaining (seemingly totally unavailable in this country), a front mudguard for a Norton P11/G12CS /N15CS?Royal Enfield Interceptor MkII 1969/70, plus bridge and stays. The stays seem to be available but not the specific bridge. It's for the Interceptor I'm restoring BTW, 1969. The bike has a completely Norton front end, including the hub.
What's annoying me is that Baxter Cycle in the U.S. have them available at $175.00 a pop, but you can't get them here! They are advertised as being British made. Does anyone know who makes/made them so I can approach them directly? Also, if anyone has one to sell, could they get in touch please? 07860464104.
Many thanks,
Alaster.

Hello, there all common universal stainless steel mudguards that can be bought anywhere yours, Annaj
Sorry to sound fussy, but I'm restoring this machine to as high a standard as possible, so I want the right parts on it, rather than a universal 'fit all' part. Also it needs to match up with the rear, which is the correct original part, in chromed steel. Thanks for the advice though.

Maybe the company in the States bought a batch from Auto Cycle Engineering.
It's worth giving them a call and even if they can't help you directly, they may be able to point you in the right direction. Here is their website http://www.auto-cycle.co.uk/#mud

Thanks, Bob. That's very useful. I have written to them tonight, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

I have had made the front…
I have had made the front mudguard bridges for both the P11 and the G15CS, N15CS models as that same G15CS front mudguard was fitted to the RE Mk2 Interceptors along with the front forks.I have a lot of them in a plastic bag in my spare room. The mudguards you can get from Renovation Spares as they do the front chrome one and also the rear ones. The N15CS front mudguard bridge is different to the P11 mudguard bridge as the forks are different between these models.

Thank you Anthony,
I tried getting in touch with renovation spares this morning, but no luck so far. I'll keep trying and many thanks for the info. Are you able to sell me a mudguard bridge to suit the Interceptor?
Regards, Alaster.

All sorted out this morning. Autocycle Engineering had their machine set up and were making a batch of the exact mudguard today!! Spoke to Chris, who was incredibly helpful and I'm delighted, so thanks again
