Jump Starter for my commando

Have you considered wiring in a lead with a socket that allows you to plug in a jump starter or charger?

Halfords sell bike jump start leads, OK for a kickstart bike but get hot jumping anything else

You could always knock some up overnight whilst the battery is charging?

For a kickstart bike you only need 16 amp cable or thereabouts with a couple of crocodile clips on either end.

No but I might just get a motorcycle battery charger, I can wait for that to work was just wondering if there was such a thing. Are these leads available or home built jobbies

I fitted a DIN 'Hella' type socket to my Commando both to supply auxilliary power and to plug in a charger if needed.
