Now the ES2 story approaches it's end. All parts are now purchased and what's left is a bit of paint, assembly and then the MoT.
I just got the rims and spokes from feked today. Along with some nice NOC t-shirts
4 days delivery from UK to Denmark is approved!

I'm confused. What are we discussing here?
I resized the imaged to the indicated 600kb so that shouldn't be an issue. It's a boring shoot of a cardboard box anyway, so not that interesting (sorry).
I'll post more pictures when they get assembled, shoed and put on the ES.

Pics are good... and in this case it does show they werewell packed ... which might be boring but it's still worth bearing in mind when we pay lots of money for mail order from a firm we might not have deal with ourselves.

I still don't get the whole sub-post in this thread, but yes David; very well packed and rims, spokes and nipples seem to be of a nice quality. I went with the Premium Chrome version (middle of the price range) and will of course make a thourough post of the quality when I've built them.
Their information when ordering, their information when posted, and the general quick send-off to DK, makes this a firm I'll note for future use (Feked.com).
It seems that even though we Danes take pride in our understanding of irony, sarcasm and subliminal messages, I still don't get what some of you are on about in this thread.
But feel free to elaborate further after this post, because I've then concluded what I wanted to share with you guys on my newly purchased rims
Regards
Niels

I give the inside of my rims a good coat of rust inhibitor, making sure the nipple threads are well soaked too. I use Agricastrol, but Waxoyl or the like would be just as good.

I'd be a bit wary as the solvents may attack the rubber of the tube.

I've been doing it for close on 50 years now and have had no problems with solvents and tubes. The solvents should have evaporated by the time you put the tyre on and in any case the rim tape comes between the tube and the coating of rust inhibitor. The great advantage is no rust building up inside the rim over time which can itself abrade the tube. Now I have suffered that most recently on my tubed Land Rover.

Is WD40 or ACF50 detrimental to tubes and tyres?

I have some can's of rust inhibiting 'flexible' paint like stone chip. Might use that.

As far as size is concerned it's not the webmaster's responsibility, it's the person posting the pic.
And as for "free speech" that debate has been had as far as I'm concerned. I see no reason to raise it again here.
