I notice on my pre-featherbed ES2 that one plate in the clutch has one side friction and one side plain. It also has inner tangs This means it is drives the clutch spider but is stationary when the bike is stopped in neutral. The other friction plates have outer tangs so will spin when the same condition applies. Does this add to the friction when the bike is stationary in neutral? Or does it make no difference. I can see arguments for both views.

Just realised I've explained the query all wrong. I'm thinking of what would happen when stationary in gear with the clutch pulled in. The one sided plate (internal tangs) will be stationary whilst the doubled sided friction plates (outer tangs) will be spinning. Just wondering if this will tend towards clutch drag?
