Hi just a word of warning I am in process of assy late navi crankcases and am at point of putting timeing cover on and have found the inlet camshaft is were ex should be. This is due to me following norton twin manual as it says fit cam shafts (note the exhaust drives the contact breaker page 33. so I fitted the camshaft with the spigot (for the points ) on the exhaust side. Should have known better than the except the words from the manual o hum??? I did get a spring for the gearbox selector and found a plunger in a box of bits the spring is not the correct part number but seems to select ok (re my earlier message Thanks for members help on that). Better get back in shed and strip down cases.

Hi Keith,
Which manual are you looking at, my Jubilee / Navigator / Electra manuals all say 'The inlet has the extension for contact breaker drive'.
