Rebuilding a domi 88. Renewed bearings, felt seals etc. When I clamp up the spindle Nut, the wheel is locked. The distance piece on the left side doesnât,t protrude from the locking ring so the wheel is clamped between the sliders when the wheel Nut is tightened. Iâve assembled it according to the manual. It seem like it needs a spacer under the LH distance piece to bring it out beyond the locking ring. Any thoughts please?

I pressume you have the dust cover on the LH side, this in itself is a spacer and replacements are not always thick enough.

Just wanted to say thanks to Joe and the team for hosting another great day!As ever, a warm welcome was extended by all of the A/N crew. Information was shared and spares were collected; road and race exotica was there to be viewed. All the while, a good-natured crowed of fellow enthusiast swapped tips, views and stories (never let the truth get in the way of a good story :0) in the car park. Thanks againKatherine Scott

I stopped in on my way back from Calne bike fest. Very interesting to see the shop and have a look around. Plus learnt that at last, after 50+ years, decent copper gaskets are available for an atlas barrel with raised spigots. Going back next week to pick one up plus one or two other bits.

Well done Andover Norton Laughing
