AN PRV Kit
I bought a PRV kit from Andover Norton a few months ago. It came with a couple of shims, you can see them on their picture on their website.
With one shim fitted the spring rattled in the body. With both shims the spring was just under compression. No instructions from AN but I assumed that it would be better with both shims.
I will take it apart and measure the spring when my garage gets a bit warmer!

Why not buy a replacement anyway? or ask the vendor for the length??
