Hi , anyone have or know where I can source a Mk3 Roadster battery side panel, nipped out on the bike this morning and lost it . Searched a few miles of hedges but no sign of it, only about 2 miles to petrol station before I noticed it gone, walked all the hedges both sides but no sign of it ,absolutely gutted.

The RGM fibreglass side panel needs a bit of work to make it fit,just a bit of trimming and a couple of holes drilling if I remember rightly,plus painting of course.I have one here that I no longer need if you are interested.

Thanks for the replies, I was hoping to replace the steel one I lost, it’s quite different to the 850 mk2 Roadster I have , the tool pocket on that panel doesn’t allow the panel to fit over the battery on mk3, Strange RGM doing steel one side and grp the other , if I can source one I then have the problem of matching paint , Wish I’d left the bike on the garage this morning now.

Hi Allan,
I searched for ages before giving up and using a pre Mk3 after removing the tool pocket and modifying to fit. I retained the earlier front mounting to the gusset plate as it`s more secure than the Mk3 Duez fastener, hence why Mk3 ones are so rare, probably all rusting away in ditches around the countryside.

I see RGM sell a LHS in fiberglass and the RHS in steel.
Doesn't say MK3 but might be worth a call.
