Just started to fit my new loom that I have from noc and looking at the wiring diagram It looks like links at the switches just spent the day trying to get this right

The coil ignition Dommy had links around the switch with a short piece of wire, It also had errors too.!!.So keep the brain in gear.

Hi Keith

What is the problem with links at the switches? Are you wondering what they do? Are you wondering where they are? Are you wondering if you have to make/fit them? Do not worry, they are internal connections in the switch. Talk to Al Oz (our electrical guru) about this electrical@nortonownersclub.org, as there are many pitfalls to be had using new wiring looms. For example, are you on 6v or changing to 12v? What voltage control will you use? The original 6v system relies on a resistance wire to control charging, and it's often omitted in modern looms. Al can supply an equivalent resistor for you. If moving to 12v, you will need a new rectifier & Zener Diode - or a Power Box (Regulator/Rectifier). Also, if moving to 12v, your wiring can be made simpler. And so on.....
