I know.. I should try to refurbish the pump (again) but yesterday's task was to swap the 'push to make' switch used to turn on the power when the tap is open for a "push to break" switch to earth the magneto when tap is closed.
This is a 'Dove' tap from Matchless and AJS club supplier. Is it still made, I wonder?
I had to lathe cut a 1.5mm pitch M12 thread over the small thread the switch arrived with. Now to test it...
