Avon Roadrider MK2, 90/90 19 or 100/90 19 front 100/90 19 rear.

90 on front will quicken the steering slightly over the 100 so your preference.

Agree with John on Roadriders, although limited tread depth on rear (because it is a F or R fit) means that they do wear out rather quickly, but best tyre I have ever had on mine.

Prefer 90/90 front.

What they said. I run 90/90 and 100/90 Road-Riders and they're wonderful. I have a WM3-19 rim on the rear...Not sure if that makes a difference.

some people recently have said (elsewhere) that 18 inch rear rim gives you access to dedicated rear tyres, which last considerably longer.

Will be an upcoming purchase for me too , have just had wheels rebuilt with WM3 18" on rear std front , am looking at 90/90 for front and 110/90 for rear , bridgestone bt46

My Mk 3 was running on 25 year old road runners.

This summer I changed the front for a road rider 90/90, all good

Next year I need to change the rear 4.10 X 19 (With WM3 rim)

I'm thinking of a 110 X 90 road rider.

Any thoughts?

There is no 110/90 x 19 Avon Roadrider MK2, 100/90 x 19 is the widest on their size listing. If you want the 110 then you need an 18 rim,

Yes Brian, front changed (Avon 90/90) and rear to change in the Spring, even though, unlike the front, there are no cracks in the rear, though the rubber is a little hard now.(Less than 4K miles)

BTW, I have hardly ridden the bike and mostly steady riding at that .
