TLS front brake

Surely the internal lever won't even fit inside the drum! And would any sane person trust his life to that grazing? It might be worth the value of a pair of second hand brake shoes.

If someone's stupid enough to make it someone may be stupid enough to buy it!

Shouldn't someone mention the danger to potential bidders?

Dresda used to offer a Norton SLS brake plate conversion to 2LS with all the mechanicals hidden inside. The only drawback of such item  being that fine adjustment of the shoes was next to impossible.  I have a feeling that another big name was selling a version of this brake plate until recently.

Your right Dan 'on your head B it' and another thing it looks like green AM4 linings and certainly the lading edges of the shoes have not been filled back. First tug on the brake lever in the morning will probably have you sitting on the road. As for getting that lot in side the drum, ones mind boggles.

That is an interesting conversion.....  Internal 2ls does have history - the first Works Nortons with 2ls had internal links. 

Another 'feature' is that it has a torque arm to the top of the slider, where you won't find a lug strong enough.

Funnily enough I've just unearthed the device shown in the attached pictures (sorting through a job lot of bits that I've had under the bench for literally decades and had largely forgotten the details of).

I'm at a loss as to how this was supposed to work, if it ever did.
