hello my 650 manxman has fitted by me a chrome kawasaki zzr 600 side stand and its better then the Norton one And only cost 21 quid and some engineering Yours anna j

RGM sidestand

If you don't have engineering facilities to modify the kawasaki onementioned above then I can recommend the sidestand sold by RGM. They supply an extremely well made stand and bracket for the frame, but leave it unpainted so that it can be adjusted to suit your frame i.e. you may have 18" wheels.
I replaced mine about 10 years ago and can use it confidently without fear of it braking. My Slimline frame has the standard 19" wheels and the stand fitted perfectly without any adjustments needed. It may seem expensive but you don't want to worry about your bike falling over.
