We have oil leaks from under the heads of the 3/8 head bolts on the Atlas. These are stainless and will be changed back to std steel OE bolts. Any sealing washers recommended?. we will be using sealant on the threads .
Sealant on the threads?…
Sealant on the threads? surely not, it will make it a lottery of retorquing the head bolts. Are you sure the oil is not coming from elsewhere and pooling in the headbolt counterbore, rocker spindle plates and rocker oil feed would be my first look see.

Sealing threads
I suspect that Peter is correct on this. A correctly tightened head bolt ought to be achieving a mechanical seal on the thread. A wipe of Wellseal probably wouldn't hurt but I've never used it, nor have I ever found traces of engine oil above the threads.
A trace of sweating around the base stud nuts is not uncommon, but there is only a paper gasket there.

... these would be sealed by the gasket? I'm a fan of well annealed copper gaskets with a very thin smear of Wellseal.
