Has anyone got any details/drawing of the baffling?
I'm currently building an exhaust system to fit my special, so this would help a lot.

Last had a Commando 40 odd…
Last had a Commando 40 odd years ago John and bought a set of S/S ones, the baffles (From memory.) were similar/same as the originals that you describe.
I didn't cut them apart either, but before I make some it'd certainly be handy to get some more accurate measurements rather than rely on my memory.

Don't know about the baffling as never cut one open, but the central tube on the genuine ones has a series of scoops pressed inwards and pointing forwards to pull the exhaust gases into the outer chamber, noisier copies use a plain perforated tube.
