Hi all
Has anyone heard of a chap called Urban Woods from Oxfordshire ,I don't know what era he raced but he was a big norton man. Any info would be great .Thanks Ian

Urban Woods . I thought he might be a family member possibly, but he was definitely a Norton man he had a number of Manx Nortons ,I spoke to him a number of years ago lost his number , I R ember his name as its so unusual .

Hi Ian I am aware of a Tommy Woods who raced Nortons on the IOM in the 40/50's. Don't know if he was nicknamed 'Urban' nor if he came from Oxfordshire. He raced in the MotoGP of the time as well. Not necessarily a Norton man only as he did race a variety of machines. There was also a Stanley Woods around the 20/30's but he was from Ireland. He was more a Norton Racer.
