Yet another query - sorry. Can someone advise if there’s supposed to be a gasket between the oil pump & crankcase please on a late Jubilee. I see from Ulrichs post that he has one fitted to his Navi but there’s not a new one in both my gasket sets, wasn’t fitted when i stripped the engine nor is it listed in parts manual. The mating surfaces are a good surface finish so does it need one?

Oil pump gasket
Well, I fitted a new one. Cleaned the surfaces and used NO silikon sealant.
It is the same gasket as on my Norton Commando

Not listed in the parts list - so I do not normally fit one.
Its not a problem, of course - as if a little bit of oil leaks out, it just gets recirculated!
