Third day of owning my Mk3 Commando and fully addicted already! However, the bike is not fitted with rear footrests and I want to carry a pillion. I understand the pegs I need are specific to the mk3 and not interchangeable with earlier Commandos. Having difficulty finding any for sale. Does anyone know if/where obtainable please? Any photos most welcome so I know what I’m looking for.

Assuming both of the mounting plates are still in place, you will need to fit the spacer between them.

Review of pillion footrests
Just reviewing the current set up on my standard mk111 pillion footrests - they are very near the shiny silencers and it’s just a matter of time.
I am considering adding in extra spacers and plates to raise them a bit higher - any thoughts?

Brian I raised mine by adding alloy plates front and back with 3 holes on inner plate and 2 on the outer with a thicker spacer and longer bolt used on the top hole for the footpeg. Its a bit busy with the pannier bag supports in there too.
