Hello all I hope all of you are doing well. This so happens to be my first post on the forum being a new Norton owner and owners club member. I am on the look out for a NOS, Slightly Used or reproduction Amal Carburettor for an ex WD 16H. Sadly the good folks over at Amal are out of stock and wont be making them any time soon as per my email correspondence with them. The correct carburettor would be a 276AE/1BE
Also I am on the look out for some parts for my 1954 Big 4 Norton, It is a fairly rare machine being the last year of production, it also happens to be a numbers matching bike with a swinging arm frame. I am guessing the main stand would be the same as a 1954 ES2 would have. I anyone has one around I would greatly appreciate having a look at it or buying it .

Hitchcocks list the Amal 276 in 1" clip fitting that you need. They will no doubt jet it accordingly. It will probably be from Wassell not Burlen, but I doubt if Hitchcocks sell stuff that is unfit for purpose.
Incidentally they also list the prewar type 76, but only flange fitting.
I would recommend hard anodised or chrome slide. You could get one later if Wassell don't supply them.
