Hi,
Anyone know much about John Tickle stuff, in my bitsa acquisitions was a pair of original good nick, although drilled, JT headlamp brackets. Sadly without altering them they will not fit my Roadholders!
I will measure them to see their diameter. Perhaps this particular size where originally manufactured for the Royal Enfield Continental 250 Cafe racer or something like that?
They are numbered too, see pic.
Am I right in Roadholders being equivalent to 1" 3/8 or 34 almost 35 millimeters?
Thanks
John H

34.8 millimetres diameter…

34.8 millimetres diameter at the top. Spread the bloody things with a screwdriver and hammer them on. Every numbscull in the sixties did it that way. A cafe racer only looks good with hammer bruises and chipped chrome. The chrome was only "flashed on " anyway.
