Ericsson Cox

I have just seen on Web site news that Eric Cox has passed.

I only knew him from meeting him when the International rally was held in the USA, where he had more than his fair share of mechanical problems.

His cheerfulness and determination made him popular with everybody there.

He was a large part of starting what is now a good club.

A proper Norton bloke.

Hi Peter,

Eric was a very special bloke he loved Norton's and his life had a Norton theme to it like 'Blackpool' through a stick of rock. We're proud at Bristol to say we knew Eric and his funeral was a chance for us to show we cared, he wanted his old bike to lead the cortege and a line up of Nortons to follow ,that's exactly what he got. It was a celebration of a life lived around bikes, especially Norton's.

He'll be missed
