Hi,
I bought a Norton Dominator 8" front brake plate with a new actuating Cam kit, only to find on unpacking it that the cam spindle seems too long and to line up with the Brake cable, if a straight lever is used, I can only see on the diagrams two bushes and no apparent spacer!
Am I missing something as the part looks long on the Andover Norton diagram, I am using a pre-1955 brake plate, was the cam spindle shorter on the earlier unit?
