Bike Auction at the NMM

The Museum is hosting an auction of 175 bikes by H&H on Saturday 19th December. Most are private entries, but some are NMM bikes, duplicates etc. Theres even a Sinclair C5 for the dedicated collector!

A good spread of all sorts of Nortons, from a Jubilee with a 350 engine, right up to Donnington Commandos.

.. some tempting stuff there!

It's a shame that the NMM is having to dispose of some bikes but hardly surprising given the circumstances.

I didnt look at all of the NMMs own entries, but some were listed as duplicate machines, and that Jubbly with a Navvy engine is therefore not "100% pedigree"- although visually its good.

Yes they have had a tough time, having recovered from the fire, the break-in etc. Its quite interesting that Norton now only a few miles up the road in Solihull!

Roll on 2021 and some sort of normality.
