Hi folks. Can anyone help with a few photographs of their wiring loom in situ please?
Ive just about finishing re wiring the bike and find that there is not enough room for all the kit in the headlamp shell. On further investigation Ive found that the harness is in two parts. main and headlamp. I need to know if the handlebar switches go into the lamp shell or not. I also need to know where the interface is situated between the main and headlamp harness.
Please advise and a picture paints a thousand words as they say.

I have now re wired the bike from scratch. Ive use cloth insulation tape, and if I do say so myself. Its one hundred percent better than the bought looms.

On my MK2A the headlamp harness comes back out of the headlamp and runs on the right side of the headstock under the tank, the 2 handlebar grey harness's run down the left side of the headstock under the tank. Under the tank just around the headsteady area the headlamp, main and the handlebar harnesses all meet and combine at originally a single block of 5 doubles connector. This block decays and is a pain so I replaced it with a set of doubles and single bullet connectors to suit and then zip tied them together loosely with a thin foam cover so you can get them into the space under the tank with no chance of shorts.
If you want the original block its better found as a Jaguar part, one example.
