Hi Leigh,

I am new to Nortons and recently acquired a 1955 Dominator 99. Still doing a bit of fettling but not yet had it out on the road. If you refer to the forum notes referencing the K2F magneto ATD you will see some of my comments concerning my bike.

Cool , we both got 99s. I haven’t the faintest clue about Brit bikes. But I’m learning fast. Is it near getting on the road?

The Notts branch meet second Tuesday of he month at the Brown Cow, in Mansfield, happy to see yu if you fancy a run across. We usually meet at around 8:00pm. Regards garry.

Gave the 99 it’s first run yesterday since purchase and fettling . I only did a round trip of 24 miles to Chatsworth and back but it went fairly well. Not sure as to whether the clutch needs a adjusting and I need to sort out the problem of the kickstart not returning to to its top position. I am going to take the gear box cover off to investigate.

Hi,

I'm near Long Eaton too. 61 Navigator. Been commuting on it every day recently but battery has now stopped charging, it seems I may have an alternator problem...
