It is with deep regret that I have to announce that Chris Grimmett died today; Chris had a heart attack when out running on Saturday and never regained consciousness.
Chris was our Chairman from 2000 to 2010. Until 2016 he was also our webmaster and continued to be an active member of the rally team.
Chris will be sorely missed by his many friends and fellow Committee members on which he served with such distinction. We will publish a full obituary in our magazine and whilst it is likely that circumstances will preclude most of us being able to attend his funeral we will keep members posted. At this very sad time our thoughts are with Chris’ wife Sheelagh to whom we send our deep condolences
