The Kent/Surrey/Sussex Air Ambulance are running a campaign to purchase their own helicopter instead of paying very substantial costs to lease hire, as they do at the moment. This would enable them to fly more missions each day and save more lives, something very pertinent to motorcyclists.
A very substantial sum of money has been raised to date for this cause and the final push to reach the purchase price by the end of May is hastily underway.
The Kent, Surrey and Sussex branches of the NOC have all agreed to contribute to this agreeably very worthwhile cause.
