Norton News Service Technical Bulletins

Does anyone know where we can obtain "Norton News", Norton Service Bulletins or any other form of Technical Bulletins sent out by the factory from the Bracebridge St days to NVT days?

It's a little annoying that the Americans seem to refer to these [in the INOA "Tech Digest" and forums eg Access Norton] and yet I can't seem to find any source for them.

I am interested in the twins, mainly.

I did manage to get the service notes for the Commando models when the Norton service agent for the UK closed, but there was so little in there that came from Plumstead, or only back to 1968. I managed to obtain, a file of Berliner service releases from a Berliner main dealer a few years, ago. I was in Seattle, at the late Bob Busdchat's house, and in his recycling bin, there many service release sheets that went back to 1964. These I promptly took out of his bin. I asked him if he had any more and he told me he had got rid of them all. I have tried over so many years to find any thing from Bracebridge Street, but I have only managed to find service releases for the Norton Nomad models, but not much else.

Issues Nos.1-155 in 2009 of Norton News were archived onto a DVD by the INOA and have been available via its Bracebridge Street merchanising arm for a number of years. [n.b. not to be confused with Bracebridge Street, an address in Birmingham].

The exchange rate is getting better, as it has been going up steadily for the last few weeks. I have to get my parts for my Chevrolet in the USA, and I have friends in the USA who get them for me. The exchange rate is still bad, as it has not be $2 to the £ for over 12 years. I need so many parts from the USA that I have to contend with the lousy exchange rate.
