Hi; looking for a chain guard for a Model 7 in a NON featherbed frame (single down tube but with swingarm).
Pictures/ drawings alternative solution part No. to show what I'm looking for would be appreciated. or if you have one to part with ???? :-)
Many Thanks
Jon
Chain guard same as ES2
Jonathan,
The Model 7 chain guard is the same as the ES2 for the single downtube swinging arm frames. Doug's chain guard for the plunger frame is quite different and won't fit.
Later today I'll take a photo of one that I have for my Model 7 project and make a few measurements for you. These chain guards were only used for 3 or 4 years so are quite difficult to find, but do occasionally turn up at autojumbles.

Chain guard picture
Jonathan,
Here is a photo and a simple sketch with overall dimensions. Have a look in the NOC shop as there is a chain guard listed there, see H2_H12/497

Hi Jon
Ive attached some photos of my chainguard. It’s from a 1952 Model 7 plunger. Not sure if it’s what you’re after.
The white plastic is for a pattern to make a bracket to join to the rear spring pinch bolt
hope it helps
Doug
