Hi all
I recieved an engine plate fixing kit for my slimline dominator but the bolts when fully tightened are more than 5mm too long. Even when the nut on one side is fastened all the way down its still too long. Have I done something wrong or been given a dodgy kit ?
Thanks
I don't quite understand...

Andover Norton website
If you look on the Andover Norton website, the illustrated Slimline frame section identifies all the fixing bolts/ studs by size.

... your second pic but as far as studs are concerned the thread should not normally extend inside the part being constrained otherwise the peaks of the thread will wear rapidly ending up with a sloppy fit.
