I took my Atlas out for its first run yesterday after a 2 year rebuild. Much to my relief everything was fine although I have a query with the clutch. There is no slip or drag and the lever movement feels good but there is very little travel between it being engaged / disengaged making it difficult to slip the clutch a little when pulling off, for example, on a hill. All the clutch components are new including the springs and buckets but with the exception of the pressure plate, the lever has a 7/8” fulcrum. Is this normal or do I have a fault? Any thoughts please.
Thanks, Paul.

I suspect once the plates have bedded in a bit and some oil has got in it may improve. There is a modification to the lever shape (inside the gearbox) that makes the lift and engagement more gradual.
