Hi,
My primary chain-case inner must have had these two discs riveted together on the gearbox input into the chain-case.
Are they some kind of seal? Should there be anything else (like a soft washer) sandwiched between them? Are they necessary - and if so, Is it possible to replace them?
Thanks.
Inner Chaincase Sealing Discs
Thank you for getting back. After a bit of Googling I have found the discs - p/no 060769 and the washer 012443 both available from RGM and on Ebay.
Looks like when they are first fitted they are spot welded, but it will probably work to rivet them together? Hope so.....

.. should be riveted together- thats how they were factory assembled, one disc each side of the case, such that there is approx a 1/4" gap between the inner edges where a felt seal fits.
When in place, the discs should be a close sliding fit in the oval hole so that the primary chain can be adjusted.
