Fast 16H
It's a seriously tempting article. I wonder what the Insurance would make of it? It's odd really. I could open the twist grip on my 16H all the way, but rather feel mechanical sympathy cuts in. So maybe stage 1 is to ride absolutely flat out at every opportunity just to find out if it is bearable! The spigot carb fixing means fewer chances of picking up a serviceable upside carb at an autojumble. I'd need to re-read the article, but did he change the cast iron flywheel?
Of course you could get a modern machine instead but I love the look of the Norton Singles. Even my wife likes the look of the 16H!
The cheapest and quickest tuning device is a set of good earplugs.
