Evening All
The dynamo on my 1950 16h is playing up.
3v on revving when isolated from battery and regulator. All good under the inspection cap. It occasionally kicks into life out on the road so suspect a lose connection in main body.
Good to get the dynamo out for better inspection. Can this be done without removing the magneto, if so how please?

This is a very simple task, by English Bike standards!
There should be a nut on the drive side that needs removing.
Then remove the 2 wires on the non drive side.
Then loosen the strap that holds the generator to the magneto.
Slide the generator out.
