Side panels

Hi John,

As I understand it, the rear enclosure is the same for the lightweights & the Dommies but the side panels are longer on the Dommies to make up for the larger size of the motorcycle & a slightly different shape to fit round the gearbox etc.

Also, the lower Dzus fastener is positioned differently.

I have some spares, but not a nearside panel , These are Hens Teeth,and have been for years. There are two different tail enclosures from the same stamping,to suit the clip down or screw fixed seats.The 650 DL may have used modified side panels to accomodate the DD head.Or was there a special updraught single carb manifold?.
