Having bitten the Commando, and received a mighty box of tricks in return from Norvil I find that I cannot use Scintered Clutch Plates,or the original and best Ham Can Air Filter assemblage , I seem to remember someone on the forums saying there was a narrow version out there somewhere. So, is there also a preferred option for belt use. Again, is a 15 year old three phase Alternator up to it? I am sure there will be more questions to come on this, but this will do as a starter, Thanks

Norvil supply a new battery…
Norvil supply a new battery with the kit that is more than capable of turning the engine over such as my 10to1 Combat.
They can also supply a smaller ham-can air filter that is a neat fit also.

Since the clutch is now dry, the best choice is good old-fashioned Surflex plates. https://www.rgmnorton.co.uk/buy/clutch-plate-fibre-3-6mm_850.htm (but out-of-stock). [edit] also in NOC shop: https://shop.nortonownersclub.org/clutch-plate-friction-surflex
Can't comment on the air filter.
If the alternator charged the battery before, it will now. More a battery question - i.e. can the battery deliver enough amps (CCA figure) when you press the button.
