Hello all,
I am playing with the idea of fitting an ES2 7 inch con rod to a spare model 19S crankshaft after the flywheels have been ovaled, A`la the 1955 BSA CB-34 Goldstar with its egg shaped flywheels.
My idea is to reduce the height of the model 19 engine and possibly to allow the fitment of an alloy cylinder barrel via Mike Pemberton. I would like to know the height of the standard 1958 ES2 model cylinder barrel to see how far off I am in my thinking.
