My 1960 Dommie headlight shell has 3 holes on the underside. 1 off 1 1/2" - main harness and one 1 1/8" and one 7/8".
One is for the speedo cable (I assume), what is the third one for?

Zero setting
The small hole is for the speedo zero setting rod/cable for the odometer.

Oddly the larger 1.125" hole seems to be for the trip reset, and the smaller 0.875" is directly in line with the speedo drive cable.
I ordered 28mm and 22mm blind grommets.

I think the other is for the dipper switch / horn mini-harness from the left-hand end of the handlebar. Cheers, howard
