Triumph 650cc Engine and parts Bath

Triumph pre-unit 650cc engine, complete and ready to run. Comprises a matching pair of 6T alternator, big bearing, crankcases; a one-piece T120 crankshaft and con-rods with good big-end bearings and main bearings; The inlet camshaft is the E3134 grind and the exhaust is the standard Bonneville cam ; the oil pump is a standard Morgo type replacement ; The top-end is a 9-stud TR6 Trophy cylinder head and barrels with standard compression Bonneville pistons , the head having had new valves and springs ; The head has a single carb manifold and breathed through an AMAL 30mm Concentric carburettor ; ( Note a twin carb manifold is also included and another matching 930 carb ) ; A LUCAS K2FC manual advance, Green label WADER type anti-clockwise magneto provides the sparks; ( the mag had a rewound armature and new condensers a few years ago ) . Also included are pair of T120 pre-unit exhaust pipes with header clamps, a matching pair of pre-unit alternator-type alloy primary chaincases ( 442mm in length ) including the alternator stator holder, an alternator stator with rotor and all the screws.
The engine was run for a few years in my standard looking A7 TriBsa ( see image ) and with the 650 engine it raised a few eyebrows from people who believed it to be a docile machine. I removed the engine in 2022 to build a cafe-racer Triton, which didn’t happen, and sold the BSA. For anyone wanting to build a Triton or TriBsa this is an ideal power unit. TriBsa alloy engine plates ( for BSA gearbox ) with steel head steady and Triton alloy engine plates ( for AMC gearbox ) are also provided with the package.
I am asking £1350 ovno for the engine and set-up and suggest any prospective purchaser comes to collect. We live in Somerset, a little under an hour South of Bath.
