Dominator 600 bottom-half. Bath

Here we have, from the 1950s, a Norton Dominator twin cylinder 600cc Dynamo type bottom-half of an engine complete. Almost ready to run, this will make a Model 7 or 88 a little quicker accelerating and top-end. It will also give many more miles to a tired 99 or 77 or Nomad.
It consists of a pair of early 1950s un-numbered (replacement ?) crankcases containing a dynamo type 600cc crankshaft and pair of later 88 con-rods. The cases are undamaged and unwelded. The Big-end bearings on the crankshaft are good, on -0.010 inch. There is a good brass-caged, lipped-roller bearing for the drive-side main and a standard single-row, medium size, timing-side main bearing. There is very little wear on the Daytona camshaft. It also has all the timing gears, pinions, chains, oil pump and Lucas Model 18D2 distributor complete. The Timing cover with brass Patents badge is undamaged and complete with screws.
This bottom end as bought could be used as the basis for an engine rebuild in several Norton Models that were built in the 1950s. These include the Model 7, Model 88, Model 77, Model 99 and Nomad. More images are available. The Engine is sold as collection only owing to weight. I am asking £325.00 o.n.o for the bottom half.
