ES2 Regulator

Forums

Can someone please tell me where the 'correct' place is to mount the voltage regulator on a 1950 plunger ES2 is. My manual says inside the toolbox. If so, where exactly? I've seen them mounted on the rear mudguard under the saddle but that seems a bit exposed. Does it get hot and need ventilation?

Any help appreciated,

Adam

Hi Adam, mine is located in the bottom of the tool box and according to the owners manual this is correct. If you want a photo just let me know.

Adam, It's a little difficult getting to my bike so I took this using my phone bending over the bike, hope it helps.

Keith.
