I need some help please. I've just taken ownership of a 1928 Model 18, in original condition and am re-commissioning it ready for the road i.e. new tyres / tubes and brake linings. But the oil pump drips and I would like to identify the make and model of the pump so that I can hopefully source some spares.
Hopefully the attached photo shows the pump for someone to identify.
Whilst checking the Amal carb I found the float chamber was full (seized float) of white crystals, which I've managed to clean out, but I need a new filter for the bottom of the float chamber; does anyone know if these are available?

Oil Pump drive
Hi Nigel,
It's not the magneto sprocket which drives the oil pump but the nut screwed on to the end of the exhaust cam. The nut is slotted to take the rectangular drive shaft of the pump.
A couple of photos from the parts book and sales catalogue attached. If you enlarge the parts page you can just make out the slot on the nut.

It's a Best and Lloyd Mechanical Mark II and looks like it has a plunger fitted to show the oil is circulating.
Same as my 1928 Model 18. Can attach catalogue drawings if they will assist.
