I bought a rear brake plate for my Norton 650ss - advertised as Dommie plate but the brake shoe pivots have wire circlips instead of retaining plate/tab washer and bolts.
I assume it's an earlier plate from ES2 or very early twin.
Does anyone have any knowledge/experience of these plates, please?

Thanks David - yes, I think shoe sizes are same to right back when.
This also has a fixing for separate torque stay so for a different swinging arm.

The plate linking the two brake shoe mounting pins was added...post WW2 I believe. So your brake plate is earlier than 650SS. Shoes and sizes are the same. I don't know about other details.
