I am working on a 750 fastback with low level pipes. The type with the enlarged section for the dominator type silencers. The new silencers that are on it came from Armours I believe. They make the baffles different to the original. They put a disc halfway down a perforated tube. The length of the standard pipe almost reaches this baffle plate and can't be good for performance!
Does the length of the pipe after the enlarged section make much difference? Or do I just punch out the disc? :-)

Perhaps the down pipes have been manufactured extra long and require cutting down to suit the the type of silencers used?
