im finishing up the gearbox rebuild for my 58 domi and ive noticed the washer in the clutch cable release arm seems over sized for the bolt and leaves alot of play is the correct ? or do i need to replace it

Are you sure
are you sure you have the inner sleeve to the big washer/roller? The roller will have a lot of clearance if it hasn't got the little inner sleeve.

Does the "inner sleeve" have a separate part number or just part of the assembly?

the roller had a lot of slop there was room to remove the clutch cable leaver out without removing the roller
